As The World Turns

8 Jul

Do you remember that world event called ‘FIFA WORLD CUP’?.  Well it still in progress for your info.  Unfortunately,  you and the rest of the globe have turned their focus to the 2010 NBA free-agency frenzy.  Unless you’re one of the country still maintaining their winning streak through the knock out stages of this 2010 FIFA World Cup.  Your attention has clearly shifted to the King James and his peers activities.

As the Netherlands continue to match their way to the world cup final only to be matched-up with Spain.  Who on the other hand, had a lost in their first match of the tournament and had couple of nail bitters even in the semifinal game versus Germany.  So finally, the final is set for Sunday the 11th of July at 2  p.m.  One game for all the marbles and then we can put the first African world cup ever to rest.

On the other side of the coin, the New York Knicks where figuring out the first piece of their puzzle, at the same time dropping the first domino piece.  Amare Stoudemire to the Knicks at $96 millions over five years.  What do you think? Is he worth it? Is he better than David Lee at that position?  Do you think that was the right decision?.

This might be the art of trying to capture the prise of the free agency class.  It definitely increase their chances of capturing the King and they can try a justify their last two rebuilding years.  As half of the teams in the NBA are trying to acquire him through straight signing him or sign and trade for teams without cap room.  Meanwhile, Chris bosh and D-wade agreed to join forces in Miami.  Pierce and Dirk have resigned with their respective teams.

Well for more on free agency stay tune, and with King James, he will be having a news conference at 9 p.m. on Espn tonight.  Which he asked Espn to sell sponsorship and all the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls club of America.  He will announce which team he is going to within the first 10 minutes of the news conference.
