Item Of The Week

31 Jan

This week’s item of the week comes from 21 Men.  Hats.  I can’t get enough of them, and I sure as hell like a guy wearing one.  Fedoras are one of my favorites, and I’m telling you you’ll look sharp in one.  This one adds a little flair with an old time black and white plaid, with a patterned ban around it.  The women will love you in it.

Avant-garde =  trademark of modernism

By: Samantha Dudhnath

avantgarde_fourfront1602

What is avant-garde?  What does it have to do with fashion?  Well, it has a lot to do with fashion, art, culture, and lifestyle.  Avant-garde pushes against the social norms and boundaries that we see on a ‘day to day’ basis.  It explores a different type of beauty then what we are not used to seeing.  Avant-garde is said to be the trademark of modernism.  It is also considered to be anything that is a rebellion ahead of the times.

This week’s item of the week is a t-shirt featuring the one and only Clint Eastwood.  I don’t care what you say, but Clint Eastwood is the man.  Wear him on a dark gray shirt featured from “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.”  If you’re going “huh?” right now I suggest you check out that classic movie, and put your Netflix subscription to good use!

Health Insurance

It’s not just for the unhealthy

By: Anya Martinez

'1 Emergency Room-HealthInsurance-Medicare'

Many young adults and working professionals underestimate the importance of a solid health care plan. Being younger and healthier means that many of your medical expenses can arise from unexpected illnesses and emergencies. Unplanned trips to the hospital can take a huge chunk out of your bank account and if you don’t have a solid healthcare plan, you might put yourself into some serious debt. An ambulance ride alone costs anywhere from $350-$800.
