From A Have Not to A Have Got

Stop Drugs And Get A Job Through Viral Media

Ted Williams, known as the homeless guy with the “golden radio voice,” just wanted a second chance.  Well boy oh boy did he ever get a second chance!  Williams became known due to a youtube video of him begging on an Ohio roadside.  Offer after offer began rushing in, but the most lucrative one came from the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Williams was so excited repeating to a local radio station, “The Cleveland Cavaliers just offered me a full-time job, and a house! A house! A house!”   The job will entail him doing voiceovers for the Cavaliers, and other companies involved with the team.

Williams is originally from Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York where he trained to be a radio announcer, but all his dreams were quickly shattered when he turned to drugs and alcohol.  He says that, “I’ve been out there for about a year; I just didn’t know anything like this would ever happen.   There’s so many words, I’ve already been characterized to Susan Boyle… I’m just so happy.”
